I have come to realize that most of the people we like and admire act as shadows of who we would like to be (or desire to be like).
Think about someone you admire, or someone you view as a role model,
now think or question yourself why you actually like them?
What do you see in them?
You will find they have something that you desire to have one day.
Or you’ll notice that they do or act in a way you wish you had the guts to pull off as well.
Either way, we admire or like these people because consciously or subconsciously they inspire us.
With that in mind if you want to know or understand yourself better ask yourself what kind of people you like or admire most in your real life.
It can be anyone.
Now think curiously,
why do you like them?
What do you see in them that you wish you had or were able to do?
The magic is you might walk out from that small exercise understanding yourself even more than you did before.
I want you to listen to this episode here.
It’s 1-2 minutes long and in it, I explain what kind of people I admire and why.
